Programme on Safe Motherhood at Ankleshwar, Gujarat

On 16th April 2025, Institute for Research and Growth, in collaboration with Coromandel International, organized a significant event on Safe Motherhood in GIDC Ankleshwar, Bharuch district of Gujarat. The program brought together 200 women from the migrant community, highlighting the importance of maternal health and well-being. The event featured a captivating Bhavai performance, which effectively conveyed crucial messages on safe motherhood practices, engaging and educating the audience. The event was graced by the presence of the Reproductive and Child Health Officer, who emphasized the need for safe motherhood practices. The Medical Officer from RCH also attended, providing valuable insights on maternal health. A health camp was organized, offering essential health services to the women. Nutrition kits were distributed to 10 pregnant women, ensuring they receive the necessary nutrients for a healthy pregnancy. This initiative demonstrates our commitment to promoting safe motherhood and empowering women from marginalized communities. Let’s work together to make motherhood safer and healthier for all!
