National Safe Motherhood Day – April 11, 2025

On the occasion of National Safe Motherhood Day, under project CLICK(Community Led Initiative for Care of Kids) & RCH(Reproductive and Child Health) Centre, a group awareness sessions with pregnant and lactating women was organized at the CH-RCH Centre. The team provided crucial information on safe motherhood, including:

– Importance of regular check-ups during pregnancy
– Benefits of iron and calcium supplements
– Utility of institutional delivery
– Pre- and post-natal care
– Nutrition and newborn vaccination

The program aimed to empower women with knowledge on safe delivery and newborn care.
An awareness camp was organized in a slum area near New Town Apartment, providing information on safe motherhood, ANC services, and institutional delivery.
