IRG Organizes Launch of Project PRATYUSHA IEC Materials in Nalagarh
On 12 January 2026, Institute for Research and Growth (iRG) organized the formal launch of IEC (Information, Education & Communication) materials developed under Project PRATYUSHA, with support from Nestlé R&D, at Government College, Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh.
The launch was held in the presence of Hon’ble AYUSH Minister Shri Yadvinder Singh Goma ji, whose role in Youth Affairs added strong relevance to the occasion of National Youth Day. Hon’ble MLA Nalagarh, Shri Hardeep Bawa ji, also graced the event as a special guest.
The IEC materials include pamphlets on traditional grains such as ragi, jowar, bajra, and kangni, posters on “Smart Thali – Sehat Wali” promoting balanced diets, flipbooks, adolescent activity booklets, and recipe cards based on traditional grains. Developed with a community-centric approach, these materials aim to strengthen awareness around AYUSH Aahar, nutrition, and preventive healthcare, especially among youth and adolescents.
The launch on National Youth Day reaffirmed a shared commitment to empowering young people with knowledge rooted in traditional food systems, balanced nutrition, and holistic well-being.
