
Gorakhpur Workshop
Institute for Research and Growth (iRG), in collaboration with Education Quality Foundation of India
(EQFI), and in support with IBM, spearheaded a transformative Capacity Building Workshop for
secondary government teachers across India. This initiative aimed to enhance competency-based
teaching and make learning more future-ready. In this three-day workshop organized in Gorakhpur,
Uttar Pradesh, more than 500 teachers actively participated from 17 to 19 th March 2025.
The conference saw presence of key guests- Mr. Anil Kumar Tripathi, MLA, representing Menhdawal
constituency, Mr. Vimlesh Pashwan, MLA from Bansgaon, Dr. Devendra Goswami, Upkul Sachiv from
Madan Mohan Malviya University.

Training secondary government teachers on competency-based teaching and technology-
focused curricula
Offering a state-aligned, curated curriculum that emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and
technology
Bridging the technology divide in education and ensuring widespread program
implementation at the state level
