World Aids Awareness Day

On World AIDS Awareness Day, Institute for Research and Growth in support with Glenmark Foundation and in collaboration with Himachal Pradesh State AIDS Control Society, joined hands to raise awareness about AIDS prevention and early diagnosis. The event was inaugurated by SP Baddi, Mr. Vinod Dhiman, who flagged off a rally with great enthusiasm.
The rally, organized by Baddi University students in areas of Baddi region, began from the SP Office, Baddi, passed through Sikka Hotel, and reached the slum dwellings in New Town.
Adding a creative touch to the initiative, students performed a powerful Nukkad Natak (street play) in the slum area, highlighting the importance of HIV prevention, early testing, and breaking the stigma associated with AIDS.
It was an inspiring effort to educate and engage the community on crucial aspects of HIV/AIDS.
