Capacity Building Workshop for Teachers at Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh

IRG in support with Education Quality Foundation of India (EQFI), a non-profit organization dedicated to promote education and enhance quality education in India, organized and facilitated a Capacity Building Workshop for Teachers in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh on 29th July 2024. The core objective this workshop was to enhance teachers’ expertise in competency-based teaching and technology-focused curricula. It was to discuss around the relevance of Leveraging Emerging Technology and Teaching Tools to Foster Creativity, Critical Thinking, and Innovation in Learners.

The teachers were trained on the navigation of the Resource Map developed by EQFI and IBM’s SkillsBuild Platform.

One unique aspect of this workshop was the User Acceptance Test (UAT). The objective of the test was to get insights from the participants on the user experience of Resource Map. The test was centered on the usability of the resource map, content evaluation, any technical difficulties during navigation and the user’s feedback.

Overall, 129 teachers were trained through this workshop.
