MA

“My name is Jay Krishna Singh. I am a resident of Bhojpur district in the state of Bihar. I completed my basic education in Bihar itself. My education is in social science, with a Master’s degree (Post-Graduation) in History. From the beginning, when I was in the first year of my graduation (2017–18), I started my own competitive exam coaching institute, which I ran until the end of 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I moved towards working in the NGO sector.First, I joined the phlebotomist training center of Lal Path Labs Foundation, where B-Able Foundation was the impliment partner. I joined there in September 2021 in the role of Placement Coordinator. At that center, I was responsible for placing the students who were trained, along with handling other tasks such as counseling, mobilization, training at the center, certification, establishing tie-ups with pathology labs and owners, arranging on-the-job training (OJT) for students, and ensuring their placement—all of these responsibilities were under me.Later, I was promoted as Center Manager of the Gorakhpur center, and afterward, I was in Varanasi until March 2025. In April 2025, I joined a project by CBRE, implemented by IRG (Institute for Research and Growth), where I am working as a Project Coordinator. Here, we are working on slum development. I am coordinating activities in two locations—Delhi and Mumbai. This has been a very good experience for me. Initially, our tasks included identifying locations that were government-listed, obtaining permissions from government bodies, holding meetings with political leaders and securing their support, conducting community meetings and building rapport, identifying beneficiaries, coordinating with them and collecting their data, finalizing contractors and vendors, and initiating the work. Today, we have already started the work in both locations. ”
