Project Jan Kavach, supported by Huntsman Solutions India Pvt. Ltd, aims to improve health outcomes for marginalized communities in 19 villages of Khed Taluka, Pune District, Maharashtra. This initiative provides essential healthcare services, screens for non- communicable diseases (like diabetes and hypertension), and raises community awareness on
critical health issues with the help of a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU). Through active participation and partnerships, Project Jan Kavach is committed to fostering a healthier future for Khed Taluka. It has been widely appreciated and embraced by the local in the nearby
villages.

In order to take healthcare to the doorsteps of the people, IRG operationalized fully equipped Mobile Medical Unit. The project used the following multipronged approach to effectively utilize the MMU:
34246 beneficiaries were provided the health screening and treatment through the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU), out of which 15083 beneficiaries were male and 19163 were females.
